Bio

Clark Burt is currently the digital technologies teacher at Ashwood School, a school for students with mild intellectual disabilities. He is a lecturer at QUT Online and a former lecturer and tutor at The University of Melbourne, RMIT University and Federation University. Clark has completed his PhD at the University of Melbourne in using Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) to teach vocabulary to students with mild Intellectual Disability. Originally a computer programmer, Clark has been teaching in Secondary, Tertiary, and now Special schools since 2004.

Clark has worked with the Victorian Department of Education developing the Digital Technologies curriculum for levels A – D. He is also the treasurer of the Australian Association of Special Education (AASE) Victorian Chapter (aasevictoria.com) and the treasurer for Digital Learning and Teaching Victoria (dltv.vic.edu.au). In his ‘free time’ he also is an educational consultant, computer programmer, and website developer.
